Patch 1.18 and beyond…

As we dive headfirst into patch 1.18, we begin to explore all of the new content in its entirety.

New dungeons, auto-attack system, and enmity calculations are just a few of the new things
we must adjust to in this new content. Along with a few graphic and menu changes, FFXIV is
surely on its way to becoming the truely next gen MMORPG it was once set out to be.

Now that the Stamina system is done away with, we have timed abilities and spells, along with new, aesthetically pleasing icons:

Also with 1.18 comes new instanced raids which we will fully explore
(although there seems to be a bug on not being able to BR some mobs in there):

Along with the new emnity calculations implemented, a new "enmity" or threat bar has been introduced as well:

Although a bit primitive, it is still nice for SE to give us an actual emnity meter so we aren't left to our own devices to try to figure something out with barely any information.(Crafting on the other hand requires frequent use of superstitious rituals and never ending, impossible to prove, theory.)

Although the useless physical levels still remain, and the point allotment, and lack of attribute placement importance are still problems; At least now we can get somewhat a feel of what Yoshi-P envisions for the future of this game.
